Peoria forward Hart makes college commitment
July 25, 2014
The Peoria Mustangs, proud members of the NA3HL, are pleased to announce that forward Josh Hart has committed to play college hockey at Robert Morris University in Illinois. Robert Morris is a member of the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) Division I and finished as national runner-up in the ACHA Division I National Championships last season.
Hart, 19, is the seventh player from the NA3HL this season to make a college commitment to Robert Morris in Illinois and will join Mustang linemate Nathan Chasteen on the Eagles as incoming freshmen. Together, the duo formed a potent offensive threat during the last third of the season.
Hart, from Littleton, Colorado, had 38 points for Peoria in 47 games, and added four points in five playoff games, including a game-winning goal.
Prior to this season, Hart played high school and midget hockey in Littleton, Colorado.
Hart’s top game in the NA3HL this past season came back on December 8th as he recorded a goal and two assists for a three point game in a 9-3 road win in Chicago against the Jr. Bulldogs.
