Southern Tier 4 @ Pittsburgh 1 – Southern Tier gets the win tonight over Pittsburgh, 4-1. Luke Sunde gets the scoring started for the Xpress with a power play goal. Alec Hooper and Brandon Desrosiers get the assist on the play. The Xpress grabbed a second goal before the period with Luke Grossman getting the goal. Desrosiers and Maulsby got the assists on the play. In the 2nd period, the Xpress added another two goals, one coming from Sunde again for his second of the night and the other from Desrosiers. In the 3rd, Pittsburgh gets its lone goal of the night by Michael Straub on the power play, getting assists from Nils Markgren and Eli Lynn. Matt Hatcher got the win in net with 18 saves. Boxscore

Peoria 6 @ La Crosse 1 – Peoria takes the win tonight over La Crosse, 6-1. Peoria got on the board first with a goal coming from Nathan Viberg, with assists from Nathan Marlow and Marshall Gevers. Late in the 1st, Peoria puts up a second goal from Marshall Gevers with the assist coming from Wisely. In the 2nd period, La Crosse puts a point on the board with a goal coming from Hunter Dragosh on the power play. Peoria follows with three goals before the second is over. The goals came from Marc Peters, Tyler Shures, and Marshall Gevers for his second of the night. In the 3rd, Andrew Scofield gets a short-handed goal to put the game away. Ross Lipic gets the win in net with 40 saves. Boxscore

Chicago 4 @ St. Louis 6 – St. Louis takes the win tonight over Chicago, 6-4. Chicago got on top first with a goal from Michael Ellis. A minute later, Michael Howard got Chicago’s second goal of the night. St. Louis countered with two goals, the first coming from Tommy Heinzman on the power play, and the second from Alex Klaesner. In the 2nd period, Chicago gets their 3rd goal of the night from Niko Moulakelis. In the 3rd period, tacks on another four goals coming from Chris Brown, Trevor Thornton, Daniel Dunaway, and Alex Klaesner for his second of the night. Chicago adds another from Max Piper but it wasn’t enough. Cooper Cothran gets the win in net with 33 saves. Boxscore

Sugar Land 3 @ Texas 2 – Sugar Land squeaks out the win in overtime against Texas, 3-2. Texas gets on top first with the only goal scored in the 1st period. The goal came fro Jon Grimm with an assist from Zach McPherson. In the 2nd period, Texas adds another goal from Anthony Koslow with an assist from Mykyta Sheptysky to go up two to nothing. Sugar land equalizes the game with two goals, one coming from Frank Muscarella with assists from Donavan Meyer and Campbell. Their second goal came from John Cuni with assists from Ryan Meyer and DeNure. There was no scoring in the 3rd period. In over time Sugar land gets the win just 34 seconds in with a goal from Muscarella for his second of the night. Winkle and James get the assists on the play. Christopher Otap gets the win in net with 21 saves. Boxscore
