Yellowstone 2 @ Gillette 7 - Behind a great game by TJ McMinn, who had two goals, the Gillette Wild defeated the Yellowstone Quake, 7-2. McMinn found the back of the net 2:24 into the third period to make the score 4-2 Gillette and again while 10:56 into the third to make the score 7-2 Gillette. The Wild forced Quake's goalies to work all game long, taking 68 shots and forcing 61 saves. Lance Knudson made 51 stops and AJ Hill made 10. Gillette also got points from Rob Lantz, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Cade Boreing also scored for Gillette. Other players who recorded assists for Gillette were Trevor Ruiz, Jack Cleaver, and Darren Banks, who each chipped in one and Trent Dillinger, Mitchell McEwan, and Brett Kramer, who contributed two each. The Quake were helped by Will Landsverk, who had one goal. Landsverk scored on the power play 12:06 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Gillette. Yellowstone also got a goal from Buck Scougale as well. In addition, Yellowstone received assists from Adrian Maass and Max Doner, who each chipped in one. Alex Feese made 23 saves for Gillette on 25 shots.
 
La Crosse 3 @ West Michigan 1 - The La Crosse Freeze relied on the scoring touch of Blake Olinyk, who netted two goals, to beat the West Michigan Wolves, 3-1. Olinyk's tallies came at 13:23 into the first period to make the score 1-0 La Crosse and 14:02 into the second to make the score 2-1 La Crosse. La Crosse also got points from Jared Bromberg, who also grabbed one goal and two assists. More assists for La Crosse came via Dan Marotz, who had one. The Wolves were led by Devin Farkas, who scored the team's only goal. Farkas scored 5:04 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Dakota Ulmer assisted on the tally. Cameron Scheuren recorded 21 saves for La Crosse.
 
North Iowa 6 @ Twin City 1 - The North Iowa Bulls were firing on all cylinders against the Twin City Steel, and when the final buzzer sounded Bulls emerged with a 6-1 win. Joe Burgmeier had two goals to lead North Iowa to victory. Burgmeier scored at 17:27 into the first period to make the score 2-1 North Iowa and again while on the power play 52 seconds into the third to make the score 5-1 North Iowa. North Iowa also had goals scored by Kurt Halbach, Brett Gravelle, Logan Murphy, and Dylan Zins, who each put in one. More assists for North Iowa came via Evan Mills, Joe Kleven, and Austin Jackson, who contributed one each and Johnny Panvica and Kohei Sato, who each chipped in two. Twin City was led by Jared Erickson, who scored the team's only goal. Erickson scored on the power play 4:18 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Twin City. Tommi Ahlgren recorded 15 saves for the Bulls.
