Gillette Pink in the Rink a success
The Gillette Wild Junior Hockey team of the NA3HL made $6,858 during their Pink in the Rink night that was donated between The Heptner Cancer Center and the Swing for the Cure, both local to Gillette, Wyoming and great organizations.
Heptner specializes in Oncology and radiology and the Swing for the Cure helps women seek and find help they need and also pays for mammograms to woman who cannot afford them.
The Gillette Wild also set an arena and history record for the city of Gillette for hockey, drawing in 1,086 people, not including staff, players, and volunteers.
The next special jersey will be featured in Gillette on November 20th against and 21st against Bozeman, and 22nd against Billings. The money earned from the Military jerseys will be given to Bricks for Vets of Gillette, which purchases a brick for the vet's wall in Gillette, which contains thier rank, year, and thanks of service.
