Bulls charity auction raises $6,000

November 4, 2014
The North Iowa Bulls of the NA3HL held their first charity jersey event of the season this past weekend when they hosted the Breezy Point North Stars in a two-game set at the North Iowa Ice Arena. The teams played a spirited, back-and-forth affair on Saturday night, giving the fans plenty to stick around for prior to the post-game auction.

The local charity, as described by Director Deidra Rattay, "My Happy Place is a non-profit organization focusing on the health and recovery of children in and around Mason City.  We do this by providing a bedroom makeover for children who are affected by chronic or terminal illness to give them a therapeutic and HAPPY PLACE to recover."

The Bulls donned specialty jerseys sponsored by Corporate Farmer and Splash MultiSport and Custom, both also local organizations here in Mason City, and auctioned them off in a post-game charity which raised an even $6,000."

The Bulls would like to extend a very large and gracious "Thank-You" to our sponsors and fans who made this event possible.

North Iowa will host another charity jersey event on February 28th when they host the Granite City Lumberjacks for the final home game of the regular season, and the game will support the Make-A-Wish Chapter of North Iowa.
