Billings beats Bozeman on Thursday, 3-1

November 14, 2014
Billings 3 @ Bozeman 1 – Alexander Meagher made 25 saves as the Billings Bulls captured a 3-1 road win in Bozeman in the lone NA3HL game on Thursday night.

After a scoreless 1st period, the Bulls got on the board as Nick Rizzo converted a nice 3 on 2 play with a snap shot from the slot, which beat Bozeman goalie Denijs Romanovskis to the blocker side for a 1-0 Bulls lead.

The Icedogs would respond later in the 2nd period as Kyler Chartier knocked home a rebound after a shot from Kegan Couture to tie the game at 1-1. It was less than a minute later that Billings regained the lead as Alex Lundstrom knocked home a power play goal on a quick shot from the side of the net for a 2-1 Billings lead.

The Bulls would seal the win with a late 3rd period goal, again from Lundstrom, who raced in on a shorthanded breakaway and score to make the final 3-1.

Romanovskis made 31 saves in the loss.
