NA3EHL Prospects Team defeats North Iowa at Showcase

NA3EHL Prospects 6 vs. North Iowa 5 – In one of the best games of the day, the NA3EHL Prospects Team edged the North Iowa Bulls, 6-5. The NA3EHL Prospects got off to an early 3-0 lead with goals from David Fish, Wesley Austin and Mike Heffernan. North Iowa responded with two goals from Adam Orn and Connor Bump to make it 3-2. The teams then traded goals and went back and forth for the rest of the game, but the NA3EHL Prospects would lead the rest of the way. Chris Harris added a 2nd period goal and Mark Friol and Matt Henderson would score in the 3rd period. The Bulls made a furious comeback attempt with three, 3rd period goals from Sam Naegele, Evan Mills and Dylan Zins, but just fell short at the buzzer.
