Gongshow Flow of the Month winner for February announced
As the 2014-15 regular season wraps up, February (or FLOWbruary as we call it) offers a great look at how far players have come in growing their flow. What started as a dream and a vision in August and September has now turned into 6 months of fabulous flow as we look ahead to the 2015 Silver Cup Playoffs.
We had some great submissions this month, perhaps the best to date. But one stood out, not only for his tremendous flow, but demonstration of how far he has come in playing and growing in the NA3HL this season.
With that said, the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) announced its Gongshow Flow of the Month winner for February 2015.
The winner this past month is forward Brenden Williams from the Cincinnati Swords.
Williams, 19, just completed his second season of playing in the NA3HL, both for Cincinnati. The native of Glen Allen, Virginia, had a career season this year as Williams (5’8/170) put up 28 points in 47 games played this season, which included 9 goals and 19 assists.
Williams also played in last week’s NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament for Team East, where he recorded two assists in two games. In 92 career NA3HL games, he has recorded 46 points.
Williams flow is an example for all NA3HL players to emulate. It has perhaps the longest length we have seen in the four years of doing the Flow of the Month awards. The back of his flow has grown well past his nameplate and is approaching the numbers.
He also gets style points for his submission picture, which is complete with gameday helmet and NA3HL certified sticker on the back. This is truly a flow to be proud of and one that would not be possible without the grind that is the NA3HL season and all the sweat and effort that Williams has put it.
Just a beauty flow from start to finish. Congratulations Brenden! It is a great look worthy of being the Flow of the Month and for his efforts Williams will be receiving a Gongshow Gear hat! The hat should accentuate the tremendous flow that Williams has built up to date.
