North Iowa forward Durgan makes college commitment
The North Iowa Bulls of the NA3HL are proud to announce that Conor Durgan from St. John's, MI has made his collegiate decision and committed to ACHA D1 Oakland University.
Conor Durgan made his way to the North Iowa Bulls late in the 2014-15 season from the Michigan Warriors of the NAHL. Durgan commented, "Being a part of the Bulls organization was truly a treat. Being able to end my junior career as a National Champion surrounded by newly found friends, coaches, and a fan presence like no other was a dream come true. I'm looking forward to coming into the Oakland University program and making an immediate impact. I know my time in junior hockey has prepared me for the jump to the collegiate level. I want to thank everyone who helped me make this opportunity a reality."
In 6 regular season games for North Iowa Durgan recorded 2 goals and 5 assists and was +1. During the NA3HL playoffs Durgan tallied 4 goals and 2 assists in 9 games including one game winning goal.
"Conor provided a determination that added to the Bull's success down that playoff stretch and into the National Championship. He was a great addition to our locker room, providing playoff experience and a knack of keeping things light in moments where others may crumble under the pressure," said Bulls head coach Todd Sanden.
The North Iowa Bulls thank Conor for his commitment to the program and wish him continued success at Oakland University.
