Toledo defenseman makes college choice

The Toledo Cherokee members of the NA3HL are proud to announce that defenseman Jimmy Howell has decided to play collegiate hockey at Adrian College.

 

The Allen Park MI, native will suit up for Adrian’s DIII Club team, as well as play baseball at the University.

 

Howell played in 39 games for the Cherokee recording 13 assists and a plus 8 rating for the season.

 

“Jimmy had a great first year for us a junior player, he is an awesome kid that will do good in both hockey and baseball at Adrian, I am extremely happy for him and his family.” Said head coach Kenny Miller

 

The 18 year old joined the Cherokee from the Oakland Junior Grizzles AAA prior to last season.
