Bisek leads Blizzard to 3-1 win on Thursday

Evan Bisek made 22 saves to help Alexandria win their season opener on Thursday night.

Alexandria 3 @ Breezy Point 1 - Alexandria's penalty kill was superb, as Alexandria survived multiple penalties to beat Breezy Point, 3-1.

Alexandria was sparked by Mason Hautala, who registered one goal. Hautala scored 3:12 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Alexandria. Riley Holwegner assisted on the tally.
 
Others who scored for Alexandria included Jack Cernohous and Aaron Ryback, who scored one goal each. More assists for Alexandria came via Logan Norman and AJ Gullickson, who contributed one each.
 
Breezy Point was led by Christian Lenzmeier, who scored the team's only goal. Lenzmeier scored on the power play 5:37 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Sean Viti picked up the assist.
 
Alexandria's Evan Bisek stopped 22 shots out of the 23 that he faced. Wes Paupore rejected 27 shots on goal for Breezy Point.
