Cincinnati forward Schneider advances to the NAHL

The Cincinnati Thunder of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that forward Hunter Schneider has made the 23-man roster of the Springfield Jr. Blues and advanced to the NAHL.
Schneider, 20, is a three-year veteran of the NA3HL is in in fourth and final junior season with the Jr. Blues. Through the first four games with Springfield this season, Scheider (5’10/170) has three points.
Last season, the native of Willmar, MN led Cincinnati in scoring with 35 points in 41 games played. He also played well on the 2015 NA3HL East Division Top Prospects Team.
Schneider has appeared in the NA3HL Top Prospects Tournaments in both 2014 and 2015.
He split the 2013-14 season between Cincinnati and the Granite City Lumberjacks. In 2012-13, he made his NA3HL with Granite City. In 89 career NA3HL games, Schneider scored 81 points.

He was in Cincinnati for two seasons, he was our Captain last year and to see him achieve his goals and move on to the next stage in his career is very exciting. I have no doubt he will continue to progress and move towards his next goal and he has landed in a great organization in Springfield with a great track record of moving players to college and beyond. He is a great example to our players today and in the future to what can be accomplished with hard work and dedication. He was a huge part of the organization and we look forward to watching him progress in the NAHL and beyond,” said Cincinnati head coach Ryan Colville.
