NA3HL Weekend Preview

Another big weekend looms for NA3HL teams as we pass the quarter point of the season. In most cases the race for playoff positioning has really heated up and this weekend offers another opportunity for some enticing divisional match-ups.

In the Central Division, the North Iowa Bulls finally play their first home game of the season as they host the Wisconsin Whalers. North Iowa is one of two teams remaining in the NA3HL without a regulation loss.
In the East Division, Metro and Toledo have a great battle of 1st and 2nd place with a home-and-home series, while Southern Tier and Wooster will do the same. Pittsburgh is at West Michigan on Sunday.
In the Frontier Division, Glacier is at Bozeman twice, while Helena and Great Falls play a home-and-home series, as do Billings and Yellowstone.
In the Midwest, 1st place St. Louis hosts Peoria twice. The Mustangs are tied for 2nd place along with Nashville. The Jr. Predators will host Cincinnati for a pair of games.
In the South Division, 1st place Point Mallard and 2nd place Atlanta are off. The remaining four teams do battle as Texas will host Euless and Sugar Land travels to Louisiana.
In the West, Twin City, who like North Iowa has yet to lose in regulation, will face the surging Minnesota Flying Aces in a home-and-home series.
Outside of the divisions, the Breezy Point North Stars and Rochester Ice Hawks will engage in a home and home series. Gillette is at Alexandria on Friday.
