Gongshow Flow of the Month winner for October announced

October… Fall arrives, there is a chill in the air, the leaves start to turn colors and a hockey players hair enters what is known as the ‘wheel house’ for what their flow is starting to become. The season is two months old and player’s flow is in full effect.

 

So we look back on October and we had many quality submissions. But, as they say better late than never, and with that a late submission right before the month was over ended up taking the cake.

 

The winner this month in the NA3EHL is Skylands Kings goalie Evan Barghout.

 

Barghout, 19, is in his first season playing in the NA3EHL. The native of Wilbraham, MA, has appeared in six games to date, which is a team high for the expansion Kings.

 

Barghout (6’0/175) won his season debut in a win over the Wilkes-Barre Miners back on September 26th and his other win came on October 17th over the Northeast Generals. In both instances, Barghout faced over 30 shot.

 

However, when looking at who has great flow, we can’t forget the men behind the masks.  Even though their faces may be hidden and they are not as exposed as their forward and defensive counterparts, goalies are still capable of producing some high-quality flow and Barghout is living proof.

 

He may have taken notes from a young Roberto Luongo with his style. First, note the nice length in the back. It is definitely plenty enough to come out the back of any goalie mask. Next, note the nice curl that comes with it.  It may be a natural curl, but it for sure is the type of mane the responds to product.

 

Finally, he goes with the slicked back look on top, which ensures maximum flow in the back. Just an all-around sweet flow with several different points of emphasis that earns Barghout our honors this month.

Fans and players alike are encouraged to submit photos of their best ‘hockey hair’ or ‘flow’ via Twitter by the end of every month during the regular season.

 

To enter the contest for the month of October, submit your best #FlowoftheMonth pictures by October 31st to @NA3EHL and @GONGSHOWGEAR. Two winners will be selected on November 1st.  Winners will receive a Gongshow Gear hat.

 

During the month of November, Gongshow and the NA3EHL will team up for their ‘Movember’ campaign, as NA3EHL coaches, staff and players will support Men’s health and cancer awareness by growing moustaches.  Gongshow will be providing the prize pack to the team that raises the most funds.
