GONGSHOW Flow of the Month winner for November announced

We will say it once and say it again, there are a couple times a year that have the distinction of being called the most wonderful time of the year. For Christmas fans, it is in late December. For football fans, it is the first Sunday in February.  However, for male hair enthusiasts that play hockey, it is either in November or during the playoffs.

 

With that said, the North American 3 Eastern Hockey League (NA3EHL) announced its GONGSHOW Flow of the Month winner for November 2015. 

 

The winner this month is goalie Steven Murphy from the Northeast Generals.

 

‘The Murph’ as we will call him, puts in a tremendous effort with his flow, but more on that in just a bit.

 

Murphy, 19, is in his first season playing junior hockey in the NA3EHL. He has appeared in nine games to date and posted a 1-7-1 record with a 6.04 goals against average and a 85.9% save percentage. His win came in his last game played back on November 20th against the Maine Wild.

 

Murphy was signed this past April after finishing an outstanding career at Plymouth North High School in his hometown of Plymouth, MA.

 

“Murph brings a great work ethic and personality to the Generals.  He is a solid goaltender that keeps improving.  We look forward to Murph being a big part of the Generals team both on and off the ice,” stated his coach Bryan Erikson.

 

But because of that win, Murph’s determination and his awesome flow, we think he is a great choice for Flow of the Month. Murphy was also part of the Generals team that recently won the NA3EHL’s Movember campaign as the Generals raised over $800 dollars for to help raise awareness for men’s health.

 

The Murph’s flow is a page out of the textbook of hockey flow. Just an all-around incredible mullet. There is no words or other way that it needs described. For extra points, he goes old school NHL 1980’s and goes with the slicked back look up top just for extra effect and style points.

 

Maybe one of the best sets of hockey hair we have seen this season and certainly a reason behind the Generals success this season, on and off the ice.  Congrats Murph… and for his effort, he will be receiving a GONGSHOW Gear hat.
