NAHL grad Kane nets Stanley Cup-winning goal

Forward Patrick Kane, who played in the North American Hockey League (NAHL) as a member of the U.S. National Team Development Program, scored the Stanley Cup-clinching goal for the Chicago Blackhawks in their 4-3 overtime win over the Philadelphia Flyers in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals on Wednesday.
Kane, the NHL’s Rookie of the Year in 2008, played two seasons in the NAHL from 2004-06, compiling 33 goals for 71 points in 55 games.
