Aviators complete sweep on Sunday
New York 4 @ Skylands 2 - In a game where neither team could get a cushion, New York escaped with a 4-2 victory over Skylands. New York gained the winning advantage on a goal by Robert Kalata 7:02 into the third period and hung on until final buzzer. New York kept Skylands' goalie busy throughout the game, and Ryan Bartholomew made 33 saves on 37 shots. New York additionally got points from Dominick Sacco, who also registered one goal and one assist. New York also had goals scored by Nicholas Lermer and Gunther Stange, who scored one goal each. More assists for New York came via Sam Shaheen, who had two and Jimmy Warrick, Martin Grinberg, and Sean Lake, who contributed one each.
