NA3HL Weekend Preview

It is another important weekend in the NA3HL and while division leaders North Iowa and Metro continue to close in on division titles, the other leaders in the four divisions are starting to feel the heat of leading the pack.
This weekend offers several intriguing match-ups as the majority of teams are in action. As a reminder, we are just over a week away from the USA Hockey trading deadline and roster freeze for all US junior teams.

In the Central Division, Wisconsin is at Rochester for a pair of games.
In the East, Toledo and Wooster battle in a home-and-home series. Pittsburgh is at West Michigan for a pair of games and division-leading Metro is at Southern Tier for a two-game set.
In the Frontier Division, the red-hot Yellowstone Quake look to ride the momentum from a Thursday win in Helena with another game against the Bighorns followed by a home game against Gillette. Division-leading Great Falls has a home-and-home series with Bozeman, while Glacier is in Billings for a two-game series.
In the Midwest, Peoria and Nashville finish their series Friday night after Nashville won on Thursday and Cincinnati is in Evansville for a pair of games.
In the South, all teams are in action in divisional match-ups as Louisiana is at Sugar Land, Texas is at Euless and Atlanta plays at Point Mallard.
In the West, Twin City is on the road twice in Breezy Point on Friday and Alexandria on Saturday.
Outside the divisions, old rivals are reacquainted as Granite City hosts North Iowa in a rematch of last year’s Silver Cup Championship Game. The other series features Minnesota at La Crosse for a pair.
