Gongshow Flow of the Month winner for January announced

The New Year is here and the month of January provided us with some great suggestions from players and fans on who has the best flow. With only a couple month remaining in the 2015-16 regular season, there has been plenty of time for players to grow out their hair and strut their stuff.

 

With that said, the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) announced its GONGSHOW Flow of the Month winner for January 2016.

 

The winner this month is goaltender Stephen Marshal Frank from the Bozeman Icedogs

 

Frank, 20, is in his second and final season playing in the NA3HL and so far this season, has proved that he is one of the top goalies in the league. The native of Pleasant Hill, California, has been very good for the 3rd place Icedogs. Frank (5’8/155) has appeared in a league-leading 29 games to date and has a 17-5-6 record to go along with a 2.27 goals against average and a 92.9% save percentage. Frank leads the NA3HL in minutes played, ranks 3rd in wins with 17 and ranks in the Top 10 in both save percentage and goals against average.

 

He was also selected to and will play in the 2016 NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament for the Frontier Division team.

 

However, this may be the new leader for Flow of the Year, let alone Flow of the Month. Realizing and understanding that Frank is from the San Francisco, California area, he flow is definitely inspired by early heavy metal greats and San Francisco natives Metallica and Megadeth.  As a matter of fact, we think he is a pure doppelganger for a young Dave Mustaine. Dare we say the flow is a pure Symphony of Destruction? 

 

The flow is just lengthy, stringy and simple.  It projects a bold statement like “I like to rock and I like to stop pucks.” One can only wonder what he does with his mass of hair when it goes behind the mask, but it is working because he can stop the puck. 

 

Just a remarkable set of hair and flow and inspiring for all young players to dare go where few will when it comes to their salad. Congrats Steven and good luck at Top Prospects… and for his effort, he will be receiving a GONGSHOW Gear hat.
