Twin City duo of Paul and Costello make NCAA commitments

Twin City forward Jay Paul will play NCAA hockey for Bethel University, while leading scorer Joe Costello will play NCAA hockey for Wisconsin-Stout.
The Twin City Steel of the NA3HL are proud to announce the NCAA Division III commitments of captain Jay Paul and assistant captain Joe Costello.
Paul, a second-year forward for the Steel out of Minnetonka, MN, has announced that he will play NCAA Division III Hockey for Bethel University beginning in the 2016-17 season. Paul to date has played 82 games for the steel and recorded totals of 21 goals and 36 assists with a +2 rating.
“Jay epitomizes what hard work and determination get you,” said Steel Head Coach Jay Witta. “He wears the ‘C’ for the Steel because every time he touches the ice you know that he is doing everything to better himself and his teammates. He has a bright future and we are excited to see him do great things at Bethel next season.”
Paul joins former Steel forward David Becker at Bethel.
Costello, also in his 2nd year with the Steel out of Rochester, MI, has announced that he will play NCAA Division III Hockey for the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Costello is currently the Steel’s leading scorer with 30 goals and 28 assists with a +24 rating on the season.
“Joe has that natural ability to find the back of the net,” said Steel Head Coach Jay Witta. “He puts himself in the right position and does an outstanding job setting up his teammates. His vocal presence on the ice and in the locker room is another reason Joe is one of the teams captains”
Costello joins former Steel players Mathias Ahman and Jon Plaszcz at Stout.
