North Iowa forward Stang makes NCAA commitment

The North Iowa Bulls are pleased to announce that forward Jack Stang, from Mendota Heights, MN recently made his NCAA decision and will play at St. Mary's University (MIAC) in Winona, MN.
In his junior career Jack played over 150 regular season and playoff games in the NAHL, NA3HL, and a brief stretch in another league. As a two-time Champion with the Bulls, Jack brought a level of experience that many just can't possess due to his lengthy career. In Stang's NAHL/NA3HL career he recorded 15 goals and 48 assists, 4 of his goals being game winners.
"Jack provided leadership, and in crunch time, a selfless attitude to help our team be successful. He played in all situations for us and was one of our most reliable penalty killing forwards,” said head coach Todd Sanden.
Jack finished his junior career with some flair with a power play assist in the 2016 Silver Cup National Championship game. Jack is part of a growing group of players from this years Bulls team that have made a commitment to play college hockey after being with the Bulls. The North Iowa Bulls wish Jack the best as he enters the next part of his academic and hockey development at St. Mary's University.
