Joe is the kind of player that a team can build around with his abilities and personal expectations for success. I have had the opportunity to watch Joe grow as a player and person and have no doubt that he will be successful in whatever he decides to do. Concordia-Moorhead is getting a quality hockey player and a great person to help continue their success on the ice," stated North Iowa head coach Todd Sanden.
Burgmeier joins team mate Quinn Fuchs at Concordia-Moorhead and is the ninth player to make an NCAA D3 commitment from this year's NA3HL Silver Cup National Championship team.
