La Crosse forward Thiering makes NCAA commitment

The La Crosse Freeze, proud members of the NA3HL, are pleased to announce that second year forward Brady Thiering has committed to pursue his academic career and continue his hockey career at the Milwaukee School of Engineering in Milwaukee, WI.  The Raiders play out of the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference and are an NCAA Division III program. 
 
Thiering, 21, is a native of Beloit, WI. He scored eight goals in a Freeze uniform all coming during the 2015-16 season.  He also contributed 13 assists throughout his junior hockey career, nine of which came this past season and four in his rookie season.  In 86 career games he tallied 21 points and a +/- of +4.
 
Thiering’s (5’7/165) best game as a Freeze came on March 4th of this past season against the Chicago Jr. Bulldogs where he contributed two goals.  He also had a stretch of three games from January 24th-30th in which he scored a goal in three consecutive games.
 
He also recorded one goal in five career playoff games.
