July 7, 2016
The Cincinnati Thunder of the NA3HL have announced that forward Marc Anderson has committed to play hockey at ACHA Division I Davenport University.
Anderson, from Canton, Michigan, played two seasons in Cincinnati playing a total of 60 games with 22 goals, 13 assists and 35 points. His 19 goals in 2015-16 were tied for the team lead on the Thunder. He participated in the 2016 NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament for the Midwest Division team, registering an assist in 3 games.
"Marc had a difficult and early end to his first season in Cincinnati after a very tough injury. He worked hard to prepare himself for this past season and enjoyed a lot of success as a key offensive player for us. We wish Marc all the best as he moves into the next stage of his hockey career,” stated Ryan Colville, head coach and general manager for the Thunder.
Davenport University is a Division I ACHA school located in Grand Rapids, MI. Davenport plays in the Great Lakes Collegiate Hockey League.
