Wolves pick up win on opening night

West Michigan 4 @ Wooster 1 – Defenseman Thomas Harrison had a goal and two assists as the West Michigan Wolves picked up their first win in the first NA3HL game of the 2016-17 season, defeating the Oilers 4-1.
After a scoreless 1st period, the Wolves got on the board early in the 2nd period with a goal from Nicholas Guy. The Oilers answered with their lone goal of the game from Bobby Frieson. The Wolves blew the game open in the 3rd period with goals from Nathan Sudek, Justin Bloomfield and Harrison.
Wolves goalie Sam Woznicki made 15 saves in the win, while Michael Hubbard made 26 saves in the loss.
