Alexandria duo makes college commitments

The Alexandria Blizzard of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that forwards Aaron Ryback and AJ Gullickson have committed to continue their hockey careers playing college hockey.
Ryback, 21 has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. The native of Winnipeg, MB was a team Captain and a played in the 2016 NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament past season for the West Division team. Ryback (6’1/200) was also the recipient of the NA3HL community service award in 2014-2015. During the 2015-16 season, he tied for the team lead in scoring with 49 points. In 120 career NA3HL games, he recorded 116 career points.
“Aaron strives himself on and off the ice,” said Blizzard Head Coach Jeff Crouse. “He was always willing to do community events and it helped him very much to get accepted into a great college like Concordia. We wish Aaron the best.”
Gullickson, 21, will be attending and playing ACHA Division I hockey for Iowa State this fall. The native of Verona, WI, was also a team captain and played in the 2014 NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament. Gullickson (5’10/180) had 41 points in 39 games played this past season and in his three-year NA3HL career played in 130 career games and recorded 96 points.
“We squired AJ in a trade two years ago and it paid off greatly,” said Head Coach Jeff Crouse. “AJ was a highly offensive player and a great two way player as well. We wish AJ the best.”
