Euless wins 6-5 thriller over Louisiana on Monday

Euless 6 @ Louisiana 5 – Kayne Fedor capped off a hat-trick with a goal with :07 seconds remaining in regulation as the Euless Jr. Stars clawed back from several deficits to defeat Louisiana on Monday night, 6-5. Louisiana took an early 3-0 lead on goals from Davis Van Gemerden, Nikita Anistratenko and Michael Ballard. The Jr. Stars then jumped ahead 4-3 with four straight goals from Thomas Delaney, Tristan Wilson, Nick Sheridan and Fedor’s first of the night. Early in the 3rd period, the Drillers regained a lead at 5-4 with a pair of goals from Brandon Vukasin and Tucker Alspaugh. Later in the 3rd period, Fedor scored two more goals, including the game-winner on a 2 on 0 break with just seconds left in regulation.
