Saturday Scores: Quake, Sens, Caps and Bulls heading to Silver Cup

Ryan Flanagan led the Binghamton Junior Senators to another series sweep and spot in the Silver Cup Championship. The Sens have not lost a game since mid-November.

Frontier Division Finals, Game 3: Yellowstone Quake 3 vs. Great Falls Americans 2 (OT) (Yellowstone wins series, 2-1) - An OT goal from Cosimo Yapello secured the 3-2 victory for the Yellowstone Quake over the Great Falls Americans. Max Doner and Pablo Pantoja also scored for the Quake, and Payton McSharry and Logan Parsley notched goals for the Americans. Yellowstone goaltender Nick Ottenbacher made 30 saves, and Nick Nast stopped 39 shots for Great Falls. With the win, the Yellowstone Quake advance to the Silver Cup Championship and earn the title of the Frontier Division Playoff Champions. 

South Division Finals, Game 2: Atlanta Capitals 4 vs. Texas Jr Brahmas 1 (Atlanta wins series, 2-0) - The Atlanta Capitals grabbed an early lead on their way to a 4-1 win over the Texas Jr Brahmas. Jesse Brown, Sascha Figi, Ivan Mikhailov, and Anton Minaev each grabbed goals for the Capitals, while Kyle Torgerson notched one in for the Jr Brahmas. In net, Atlanta's Nolan Bivolcic made 19 stops, while Antony D'Aloisio stopped 23 shots fro Texas. With the win, The Atlanta Capitals become the 2017 South Division Playoff Champions and advance to the Silver Cup Championship next weekend. 

Northeast Division Finals, Game 2: Binghamton Junior Senators 5 vs. Jersey Shore Wildcats 2 (Binghamton wins series, 2-0) - The Binghamton Junior Senators played a strong third period to defeat the Jersey Shore Wildcats and come out on top, 5-2. Ryan Flanagan (2), Dominik Bogdziul, Austin Bandura, and Cole Skelly scored for the Junior Senators, and RC Randall and Dylan Plsek each notched one for the Wildcats. With the win, the Binghamton Junior Senators advance to the Silver Cup Championship and are the 2017 Northeast Division Playoff Champions. 

Central Division Finals, Game 2: North Iowa Bulls 3 vs. La Crosse Freeze 2 (North Iowa wins series, 2-0) - A pair of goals from Connor Clemons helped the North Iowa Bulls to a 3-2 win over the La Crosse Freeze. Mitch Dolter also scored for the Bulls, and Brendan Elliot and Donny Schultz each notched one for the Freeze. North Iowa's Drew Scited made 25 saves on the night, while Andrew Wagner stopped 39 shots for La Crosse. With the win, the North Iowa Bulls sweep the La Crosse Freeze, and will advance to the Silver Cup Championship, as well as earn the title of Central Division Playoff Champions. 

West Division Finals, Game 2: Granite City Lumberjacks 6 vs. New Ulm Steel 4 (Series tied, 1-1) - Four goals from Keenan Lund powered the Granite City Lumberjacks to a 6-4 win over the New Ulm Steel. Casey Esselman and Ben Haugo also scored for the Lumberjacks, and Jared Erickson, Cory Martinez, Sam Wenner, and Luc Kreuser earned points for the Steel. Granite City's Mac Berglove made 38 stops, and Nathan Siclovan and Jon Albers made 15 and 14 saves respectively for New Ulm. This West Division series is tied at one game each, and Game Three will be held tomorrow on Granite City's home ice. 

Midwest Division Finals, Game 2: Peoria Mustangs 7 vs. St Louis Jr Blues 2 (Series tied, 1-1) - The Peoria Mustangs plated a dominant third period to overcome a two goal deficit and defeat the St Louis Jr Blues, 7-2. Anthony Iacullo (2), Jack Power-Wayvon, Jordan Hillman, Austin Wisely (2), and Max Olsen scored for the Mustangs, and Joe Nolan and Ryan Edgar each notched one for the Jr Blues. Peoria goaltender JT Kossakowski made 29 saves on the night, while Sawyer Schmidt stopped 16 shots and Hunter Smith made 7 saves for St Louis. This Midwest Division match up is now tied at one game each, and Game Three will take place at St Louis' home ice tomorrow. 

East Division Finals, Game 2: Metro Jets 3 vs. Pittsburgh Vengeance 2 (OT) (Series tied, 1-1) - After almost a whole extra period, a goal from Metro Jet Robby Flannery secured the 3-2 victory over the Pittsburgh Vengeance. Flannery also scored in regulation for the Jets, alone with Louis Boudon. Austin Martz and Cam Williams got on the scoreboard for the Vengeance. Metro's Andrew Kormos made 29 saves on the night, while Joel De Simone stopped 49 shots for Pittsburgh. This East Division series is now tied at one game each, and Game Three will happen tomorrow on Metro's home ice. 

Coastal Division Finals, Game 2: New England Stars 4 vs. Long Beach Sharks 3 (OT) (Series tied, 1-1) - Tyson Gudaitis scored fast in overtime to secure a Game Two victory for the New England Stars over the Long Beach Sharks, 4-3. Eric Glover, Aidan Conlon, and Ian Gately scored for the Stars in regulation, and Carmine Taffo, Gunther Stange, and Martins Vitolins notched goals for the Sharks. New England's Dom Lamanno made 22 stops, and Kyle Van Wagner made 38 saves for Long Beach. This Coastal Division finals is tied at one game each, and Game Three will take place on New England's home turf tomorrow.
