La Crosse forward Dolan makes college commitment
June 16, 2017
The La Crosse Freeze of the NA3HL are excited to announce that forward Hunter Dolan has committed to play ACHA Division I collegiate hockey for the Iowa State University hockey program.
Dolan (5’11/180) joined the Freeze for the 2015-16 season after playing for River Falls High School program in Wisconsin. In his career with the Freeze, Dolan put up some impressive numbers with a total of 58 points in 87 games played.
The Iowa State Cyclones head coach had this to say about the Dolan commit: "We have seen Hunter play a number of times this past season and pleased that he will be wearing a Cyclone Hockey jersey for the 2017-18 season. Leading the La Crosse Freeze in goals this past season speaks to Hunter's abilities around the net, and we will look for him to make similar contributions in his freshman campaign."
The Freeze would like to thank Hunter for his hard work and dedication the past two seasons with the organization and wish him the best of luck as he continues his academic and athletic careers.
