Stars, Nordiques win on Wednesday

Mid Cities Jr Stars 4 @ College Station Spirit 1 - The Mid Cities Jr Stars grabbed an early lead on their way to a 4-1 win over the College Station Spirit. Remy Kesling, Ben Fugger, Blake Campbell, and Dalton Ceasar scored for the Jr Stars, while Blake Elliot notched one for the Spirit. In net, Jake Ange made 24 saves for Mid Cities, while Ryan O'Toole stopped 36 shots for College Station. 

 

L/A Nordiques 9 @ Cape Cod Islanders 1 - The L/A Nordiques' quick start helped push them to a 9-1 victory over the Cape Cod Islanders. Shayne Plummer, Evan Sullivan, Cole Ouellette, Andrew McCormick, Joshua Malone (9), Caleb Labrie (2), and Colby Audette found the back of the net for L/A, while Jack Conway notched one for Cape Cod. Nordique goaltender Jason St Pierre made 27 saves, while Leo Lake made 26 saves, and Esa Maki and Noah Bird made 11 each, for the Islanders.
