November 6, 2017
The Atlanta Capitals of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that defenseman Oliver Lester has been called up to the Coquitlam Express in the BCHL.
The 6’0/185 lbs. native of Calgary, Alberta, has played in 7 games so far during the 2017-18 season for the Atlanta Capitals and recorded 7 points (3 goals, 4 assists).
Lester, 20, played in the NAHL for the Minnesota Wilderness during a part of last season. He also has experience playing junior hockey in the AJHL, MJHL, and CCHL.
“Oliver will be sorely missed, as he was an anchor to our power play. He also was a leader on and off the ice for us. We wish him nothing but the best of luck,” said Capitals head coach Jason Smith.
