Mid Cities forward Koehn gets called up to the NAHL

November 22, 2017
The Mid-Cities Jr. Stars of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that forward Jason Koehn has been called up to the North American Hockey League (NAHL) to play for the Coulee Region Chill.

Koehn, 19, is in his second full season playing junior hockey, which has been between the NAHL and the NA3HL. The native of Grand Rapids, Minnesota has registered 7 points in 8 games for the Stars so far this season.

Koehn (6’0/185) began the season in the NAHL playing for the Johnstown Tomahawks, appearing in six games.

During the 2016-17 season, he spent 46 games with the Austin Bruins in the NAHL, recording 11 points in 46 games played.

"Jason brings a physical presence to the ice that will be a great addition to the Chill line up. Jason came to Dallas after being released from the Johnstown Tomahawks with the intentions of working hard to get back to the NAHL and as an organization we are excited for Jason to get that chance,” said Stars assistant coach Ben Osborne.
