Josh Arnold (top) scored twice as the North Iowa Bulls rolled to a win on Tuesday, completing a perfect 3-0 run at the Showcase, while Jacob Friedman (bottom) led the Pittsburgh Vengeance to another win on Tuesday, completing a perfect 3-0 record at the Showcase.

Mid Cities Jr Stars 3 vs. New England Stars 4-After sixty minutes of back and forth scoring, the New England Stars came out on top, 4-3, over the Mid Cities Jr Stars. Nick Johnson, Ian Gately, Eric Glover, and Ryan Gauvin scored for the Stars, while Brandon Speights, Nick Sheridan, and Matt Greco found the back of the net for the Jr Stars. New England’s Greg Moon made 32 saves, while Jake Ange stopped 39 shots for New England.

Louisiana Drillers 11 vs. Cape Cod Islanders 0-Louisiana Driller Ian Clifford made 23 saves for an 11-0 shutout victory over the Cape Cod Islanders. Brandon Vukasin (3), Timothy Zittel, Mitch Dolese, Tucker Alspaugh, Ian Denning, Hayden Watzka, Brent Wroblewski, Alex Regino, and Brandon Morgan scored for the Drillers. Joseph Wilson and Esa Maki stopped 12 and 8 shots, respectively, for the Islanders.

St Louis Jr Blues 4 vs. Yellowstone Quake 1-The St Louis Jr Blues scored four in a row to defeat the Yellowstone Quake, 4-1. Matthew Monreal, Matthew Hohl, Jack Hatton, and Ivan Galaguzov scored for the Jr Blues, while Cole Stewart notched the lone Quake goal. St Louis goaltender Blake Bjella made 25 saves, while Reid Waszczenko stopped 29 shots for Yellowstone.

Oswego Stampede 2 vs. Great Falls Americans 7-After a strong third period, the Great Falls Americans finished with a 7-2 win over the Oswego Stampede. Luke Richesin, Cody Dearing, Michael Houlihan, Weston Goodman, Nick Ramstad, Brandon Peterson, and Trent Cowden got on the scoreboard for Great Falls, while Jameson Simmonds and Marcos Zarragoitia found the back of the net for Oswego. American goaltender Mack Willy made 6 saves, while Zane Branson stopped 21 shots for the Stampede.

Long Beach Sharks 3 vs. Gillette Wild 4-The Gillette Wild scored late in the third to secure a 4-3 victory over the Long Beach Sharks. Jack Oberg, Brooks Mitzel, Coleman Varty, and Derek Scoggins scored for the Wild, while Jackson Wellmeyer, Charlie Bedard, and Zack Kippe got on the board for the Sharks. Gillette goaltender Aaron LaChance made 24 saves, while Ryan Cortez stopped 26 shots for Long Beach.

Atlanta Capitals 2 vs. Northeast Generals 4-The Northeast Generals grabbed an early lead on their way to a 4-2 win over the Atlanta Capitals. David Piela, Jacob Kelly, Chris Wilson, and Alex O’Dowd scored for the Generals, while Dillon Steh and Vito Carlo found the back of the net for the Capitals. Northeast’s Nick Sesock made 32 saves, while Kyle Konin stopped 34 shots for Atlanta.

Skylands Kings 6 vs. Maine Wild 7-After a high scoring second period, the Maine Wild finished with a 7-6 win over the Skylands Kings. Tyler Webb, Mason Ledbetter, Brady Bannon, Jason Gratz, Jake Sullivan, Dany Shestakov, and Matthew Brown scored for the Wild, while Eric Vanderhoff, Dylan Dinzik (2), Lionel Landry, Stephen Finkel, and Stephan Sizov got on the scoreboard for the Kings. Maine’s Anthony Santarosa made 23 saves, while Josh Sears stopped 27 shots for Skylands.

Binghamton Junior Senators 4 vs. L/A Nordiques 2-The Binghamton Junior Senators scored four goals in a row on their way to a 4-2 win over the L/A Nordiques. Eric Melso (2), Dinmukhamed Dzhangarashev, and RC Randall scored for the Junior Senators, and Nick Ventura and Evan Sullivan found the back of the net for the Nordiques. Binghamton’s Colin Burgess made 28 saves, while Jason St Pierre and Michael Errico stopped 14 and 15 shots, respectively, for L/A.

College Station Spirit 0 vs. Bozeman Icedogs 6-Bozeman Icedgos goalie and Blaine, Minnesota native Tait Carlson made 22 saves in his Icedogs debut for a 6-0 shutout win over the College Station Spirit. Brodie Thornton (2), Brock Taylor, Trevor Granzow (2), and Duncan McGarrah scored for the Icedogs. College Station’s Drew Pehrson made 45 saves on the night.

Southern Tier Xpress 5 vs. Wisconsin Whalers 7-The Wisconsin Whalers grabbed an early lead on the way to a 7-5 win over the Southern Tier Xpress. Trevor Timm, Dylan Allamian, Jimmy McDermott, Nick Rogers (2), Dan Suszek, and Anthony Fortin scored for the Whalers, while Waltteri Makinen, Michael Lamison (2), Stuart Pearson, and Joey Gerace found the back of the net for the Xpress. Wisconsin’s Brendan Earls made 46 saves, while Ryan Pascarella stopped 37 shots for Southern Tier.

Niagara Falls PowerHawks 2 vs. Helena Bighorns 3-Mikhail Gavrilenko notched a shootout goal in the fifth round to secure a 3-2 win for the Helena Bighorns over the Niagara Falls PowerHawks. Gavrilenko also scored twice in regulation for the Bighrons, and Evan Domiano and Michael Olszewski scored for the PowerHawks. Helena goaltender Nick Battaglia made 33 saves, while Theo Heropoulas stopped 30 shots for Niagara Falls.

Texas Brahmas 0 vs. North Iowa Bulls 6-North Iowa Bull’s Colin Cain made 11 saves for a 6-1 shutout win over the Texas Brahmas. Matt Dahlseide, Connor Clemonds, Ryan Kranz, Josh Arnold (2), and Peter Verstegen scored for the Bulls. Tyler Myers stopped 19 shots for Texas.

Point Mallard Ducks 2 vs. Missoula Junior Bruins 5-The Missoula Junior Bruins scored four unanswered goals on their way to a 5-2 win over the Point Mallard Ducks. Misha Akatnov, Hayden Moistner (2), Cameron Cunningham, and Keith Zobel found the back of the net for the Junior Bruins, while Regnars Udris and Matt Goodman scored for the Ducks. In goal, Duncan Wiest picked up the win, while Chris O’Shaughnessy took the loss for the Ducks.

Pittsburgh Vengeance 4 vs. La Crosse Freeze 1-The La Crosse Freeze scored first, but four consecutive goals from the Pittsburgh resulted in a 4-1 victory in their favor. Jacob Friedman, Austin Martz, Justin Bioni, and Nick Erker scored for the Vengeance, while Thomas Magnavite notched the lone Freeze goal. Joel De Simone picked up the win in goal, while Devin Naidow took the loss.

Roc City Royals 3 vs. Evansville Jr Thunderbolts 6-The Evansville Jr Thunderbolts scored three in the third to defeat the Roc City Royals, 6-3. Mickey Zahoran (2), Christian Alvegran, Oliver Joensson, Brandon Rozema, and Kadyn Fennell scored for the Thunderbolts, while Patrick Nowak, Hunter Reid, and Dylan Candleana found the back of the net for the Royals. Sam Tucker picked up the win in goal for Evansville, while Josh Martinez took the loss for Roc City.

Wooster Oilers 4 vs. Willmar WarHawks 5 (OT)-Max Oelkers scored at 3:14 of overtime for the Willmar WarHawks to defeat the Wooster Oilers, 5-4. Zach Martin, Keegan Bauman, Jacob Takashima, and Cameron Pries scored for the WarHawks in regulation, while Bobby Frieson, Turner Banyasz (2), and Cole Barney found the back of the net for the Oilers. In net, Willmar netminder Luke Fry and Wooster’s Michael Hubbard each racked up 33 saves.

Lansing Wolves 2 vs. Alexandria Blizzard 6-The Alexandria Blizzard’s second game scoring surge powered them to a 6-2 win over the Lansing Wolves. Austyn Renn, Peter Johnson, Luke Benson, Brenden Payne, Riley Scanlon, and Brett Meister scored for the Blizzard, while Justin Sill and Garrison Weyh notched one each for the Wolves. In net, Brady Meyers stopped 10 shots for Alexandria, and Sean Finstrom made 8 saves for Lansing.

Peoria Mustangs 3 vs. Granite City Lumberjacks 2-Tied after two, Jack Healy notched the game winner at 5:14 of the third to give the Peoria Mustangs a 3-2 win over the Granite City Lumberjacks. Bret Bauer and Jack Radley also scored for Peoria, while Logan Neu and Owen Sikich found the back of the net for the Lumberjacks. Peoria’s Jaden Gardner made 22 saves, while David Mulligan stopped 10 shots for Granite City.

New Ulm Steel 4 vs. Metro Jets 5 (OT)-Connor Inger scored twice – once in regulation and once in overtime – to help the Metro Jets to a 5-4 win over the New Ulm Steel. Jhuwon Davis (2), and Robby Flannery also scored for the Jets, and Sam Storlie, Trevor Woytcke, Alex Nagel, and Tom Reilly found the back of the net for the Steel. Metro’s Andrew Kormos made 24 saves, and Ryan Kenny stopped 34 shots for New Ulm.

Toledo Cherokee 4 vs. Wausau RiverWolves 2-A pair of goals from Adam Felser helped the Toledo Cherokee to a 4-2 win over the Wausau RiverWolves. Darren Carter and Josiah Carter also scored for the Cherokee, while Connor Moore and Matt Irwin each found the back of the net for the RiverWolves. In net, Ricardo Gonzalez stopped 15 shots for Toledo, and Wausau’s Jackson Fazendin made 24 saves.

Rochester Ice Hawks 4 vs. Breezy Point North Stars 5-The North Stars finished the event with a perfect 3-0 record thanks to a come-from-behind 5-4 win. The Ice Hawks scored the first three goals of the game thanks to goals from Josh Hoffman, Eli Cooper and Zach Dombrowski. The North Stars answered back with five straight with two goals from Alex Flicek and others from Josh Maucieri, Austin Langworthy and Jack Petroske. Dombrowski would score again for Rochester, but the Ice Hawks could not find the equalizer with the late push. Lucas Ehrlich made 16 saves in the win, while Jake Levinski made 37 saves in the loss.
