Whalers forward Rogers gets call to the NAHL

The Wisconsin Whalers of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that leading scorer Nick Rogers has been called up to the North American Hockey League (NAHL) to play for the Springfield Jr. Blues.
Rogers, 20, is in his final season of playing junior hockey. The 6’3/195 lbs. native of Dubuque, Iowa, currently leads the Whalers in scoring this season with 51 points (24 goals, 27 assists) in just 26 games so far this season.
His 51 points and 24 goals currently rank in the Top 10 in the NA3HL.
Rogers spent last season with the Fairbanks Ice Dogs in the NAHL, where he recorded 11 points in 37 games played.
Prior to his junior hockey career in the NA3HL and NAHL, he spent two seasons playing midget hockey for the Iowa Wild.
