Niagara Falls forward Logar makes NCAA commitment

The Niagara Falls PowerHawks of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that forward Andrew Logar has committed to play NCAA Division III Hockey at SUNY-Buffalo State for the 2018-19 season.
Logar, 20, is in his third and final season playing hockey in the NA3HL. The 5’9/165 lbs. native of Niagara Falls, New York, has recorded 63 points (24 goals, 39 assists) in just 35 games played this season, and his 63 points in tops for the PowerHawks.
Earlier this season, Logar was called up to the North American Hockey League (NAHL) and has played six games with the Corpus Christi IceRays.
The past two seasons, Logar has played for the Lockport Express. In 113 career NA3HL games, Logar has 166 points.
“Andrew has been in our program for three years and has worked tirelessly to play at the highest level possible. We are extremely proud and very happy for Andrew as he embarks on his journey at the next level and begins a new chapter in his life. He will be an asset to the school and the hockey program and we look forward to seeing his future successes," said PowerHawks General Manager Frank Vecchio.
