Ducks, Generals pick up wins on Wednesday

L/A Nordiques 3 @ Northeast Generals 4-The Northeast Generals pulled ahead in the second period to secure a 4-3 win over the L/A Nordiques. For the Generals, Jacob Kelly, Stephen Toal, Austin Braley, and Tyler Rudek each notched one, while Zack Mullen, Cole Ouellette, and Armand O'Keefe found the back of the net for the Nordiques. Northeast's Nick Sesock stopped 34 shots, and Michael Errico made 44 saves for L/A.

 

Evansville Jr Thunderbolts 0 @ Point Mallard Ducks 10-A hat trick from Jason Kelly, and a pair each from Jesse Stepp and Matt Goodman helped propel the Point Mallard Ducks to a 10-0 win over the Evansville Jr Thunderbolts. Joe Polcaro, Matt Evans, and Jarett Green also scored for the Ducks. Point Mallard netminder Joey Bernardini made 32 saves for the shutout, while Bryson Linenburg stopped 63 shots for Evansville.
