Binghamton defenseman O'Connor makes NCAA commitment

The Binghamton Junior Senators of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that defenseman Tim O’Connor has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for SUNY-Buffalo State.
O’Connor, 20, is completing his fifth and final season of playing junior hockey, three seasons of which has been spent playing in the NA3HL.
The 6’4/220 lbs. native of Buffalo, New York, is having a career season this year, in 49 regular season games between Binghamton and Jersey Shore, O’Connor recorded 62 points (31 goals, 31 assists)
O’Connor was also selected to and played in the 2018 NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament for the Northeast/South Division team. He posted an assist in three games.
“Tim has been a welcome addition to our team, solidifying our defense, and he’s got outstanding character and leadership skills both on and off the ice. We are excited for his well-deserved future at Buffalo State,” said Binghamton General Manager Ray Welsh.
In three seasons in the NA3HL with Binghamton, Jersey Shore, and the New Ulm Steel, O’Connor has recorded 93 points in 122 career games.
