Maine forward Tieken makes college commitment

The Maine Wild of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that forward Jordan Tieken has committed to play NAIA hockey for Midland University.

 

Tieken, 19, just completed his second season of playing junior hockey in the NA3HL. He spent two tears with the Maine Wild. The 6’1/230 lbs. native of Lincoln, Nebraska, recorded 8 points in 44 regular season games during the 2017-18 season.

 

During the 2016-17 season, Tieken had 10 points in 34 games played. Overall in his two-year NA3HL career he played in 78 games and had 18 points.

 

“We are excited to have Jordan as he adds depth to our forward corp and we always welcome our Nebraska hockey family back to Nebraska,” said Midland head coach Jason Cirone.

 

Tieken is the seventh player from the Maine Wild this past season who has made a college commitment.
