Granite City forward Di Bari makes NCAA commitment
August 23, 2018
The Granite City Lumberjacks of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that forward Chase Di Bari has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Bethel University.
Di Bari, 20, just completed his third and final season of playing in the NA3HL for the Lumberjacks. The 5’8/154 lbs. native of Ladera Ranch, California, had his best career season in 2017-18 as he recorded 45 points (22 goals, 23 assists) in 43 games played during the regular season.
Di Bari also had seven points in eight Fraser Cup Playoff games, helping the Lumberjacks win the West Division and get all the way to the Fraser Cup Semi-Finals.
Di Bari appeared in 101 career NA3HL regular season games during the course of his career and recorded 75 points. He also played in the NAHL for the Minot Minotauros during the 2015-16 season.
“Chase really took advantage of his final year of junior hockey and played a big role in our success this past season. He’s probably the best skater we have had with the Lumberjacks and created chances with his speed every shift. Bethel University is a great place for him to continue his hockey career, and we wish him nothing but the best in the future,” said Granite City head coach Brad Willner.
