NA3HL announces Divisional Stars of the Week presented by Bauer Hockey

September 12, 2018
The North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) today announced the Divisional Stars of the Week presented by Bauer Hockey for the week ending September 9, 2018. The divisional stars of the week are awards given each week of the regular season to the top-performing players in each of the eight divisions of the NA3HL as nominated by their head coaches.

Central Division Star of the Week: Ben Beversdorf, forward, Milwaukee Power
Beversdorf bagged a pair of goals, including a power-play marker, in Milwaukee’s inaugural NA3HL contest against Peoria, a 4-3 victory for the Power. The Hartland, Wisconsin, native then posted a goal and a helper in the second half of Milwaukee’s back-to-back against Peoria, which the Power won 6-3 to stay perfect in the young campaign. Beversdorf currently paces the Power with 3g-1a-4pts in two games.

2nd Star: Jaycob Bland, F, Peoria Mustangs
Honorable Mention (alphabetical): Maris Graudins, F, Milwaukee Power

Coastal Division Star of the Week: Noah Carlock, forward, Long Beach Sharks
Carlock picked up right where he left off last season, nabbing the game-winning goal and an assist in Long Beach’s opening outing against the Maine Wild. The Sharks’ second-leading scorer during the 2017-18 campaign, Carlock continued his strong play into Long Beach’s second game of the weekend, also against Maine, posting a pair of helpers in his team’s 5-2 victory.

2nd Star: Luke Church, F, Maine Wild
Honorable Mention (alphabetical): Dino Mukovoz, F, Long Beach Sharks

Frontier Division Star of the Week: Kaden Lindberg, forward, Helena Bighorns
Lindberg was the only Helena player to record multi-point efforts in each of the Bighorns’ two outings last weekend. The Helena native netted a power-play tally and an assist in the Bighorns’ opening win over the Butte Cobras, and followed that performance up with another strike on the man-advantage in their following game against Missoula, adding another two assists in that 5-2 win over the Jr. Bruins as well.

Honorable Mention (alphabetical): Nicholas Noel, F, Helena Bighorns - Drew Scites, G, Great Falls Americans
