The Bozeman Icedogs of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that goalie AJ Ruskowski has been called up to the North American Hockey League (NAHL) by the Minot Minotauros of the NAHL’s Central Division.
So far during the 2019-20 season, Ruskowski, 19, has a perfect 4-0 record with Bozeman this season, with one shutout and a 1.50 goals against average with a .959 save percentage.
The 6’6/190 lbs. native of Traverse City, Michigan, made his NAHL debut this past weekend as he made 26 saves in a 5-3 win over the St. Cloud Blizzard on October 19th.
Last season, Ruskowski, helped backstop Bozeman’s return to the postseason and a top-three finish in the Frontier League. He posted a 12-6-2 record with a 3.01 goals against average and a .923 save percentage.
“We are very happy for the opportunity for AJ. He’s battled through adversity and never stopped putting in the work and improving his game,” said Bozeman Head Coach Elliot Bates. “He was a natural leader on this team from day one and he gave us a chance to win every night and we wish him nothing but the best at the next level.”
