Lempiainen put on a show in both games, posting a total of five points in the victories. Saturday’s road win saw him light the lamp and set up another, while Sunday at home featured him at his playmaking best, notching three assists for his fourth three-point outing of the season. Starring with a total of nine points in the two victories, Rumpke made it look easy with hat-tricks in each contest, plus two assists on Friday and another helper on Saturday. Rumpke also potted the game-winning goal in Saturday’s 7-6 win, his second GWG of the season. He now boasts 13g-14a—27pts in just 18 games this year, which leads Yellowstone.

The New York native faced a barrage of 72 shots from the Colonials but put up a whopping 68 saves in the victory, including a very busy 23-save third period in which the Sharks were outshot 26-0.
