Saturday Scores: 1st place Bulls roll to 5th straight win

New England Stars forward Corey Tumenas had two goals on Saturday to lead his team their 4th straight win.

North Iowa 12 @ Willmar 2 - Lucas Wahlin netted a hat trick and added an assist while Justin Daly had four points of his own. Matt Dahlseide scored twice while Mason Enright, Noah Roitman, Sean Sullivan, Jordan Roo, Cam Fagerlee and Austin McNeil all found the scoresheet in North Iowa’s 12-2 win over the Willmar WarHawks. Evan Babekuhl turned aside 31 shots to pick up the win. Eli Stagier and Marquez Ginger scored for Willmar. 
 
L/A 3 @ NE Knights 4 - Nolan Murphy’s hat trick led the New England Knights to a 4-3 comeback win over the L/A Nordiques. Max Burum had a goal and an assist in the win while Zach Roncarati grabbed the win in goal. Hans Watson and Bryce Leger picked up a goal and an assist for the Nordiques. Peyton Hughes also scored for L/A. Jason St. Pierre was stuck with the loss. 
 
Long Beach 1 @ Northeast 10 - The Northeast Generals offense exploded for 10 goals as they took care of the Long Beach Sharks 10-1. Nicholas Wracker and Kolye Bankauskas each scored twice while Preston Phelps and Samuel Rychvalsky both had three points. Tami Merilainen, Robby Beck, Colin Day, Drew Schemmel, and Eyan Helm all found the back of the net. John Driscoll made 16 saves to grab the win in goal. Teddy Valenti tallied the only goal for Long Beach while Timothy Brillaud stopped 52 shots.
 
Louisiana 3 @ Mid Cities 2 - The Louisiana Drillers got out to a 3-0 lead and hung on for dear life as they outlasted the Mid Cities Jr. Stars 3-2. Blake Siewertsen led Louisiana with a goal and an assist while Brandon Morgan and Shamil Khadizhaolv also scored. Daniel Sprague earned the win in net by making 29 saves. Brandon Speights and Zach Perez scored for the Stars. Nahuel Veyan took the loss as he made 32 saves.
 
NE Stars 5 @ Maine 3 - Corey Tumenas potted a pair of goals and Jon Natale chipped in a goal and two assists as the New England Stars beat the Maine Wild 5-3. Connor Barter and Derek Flynn each had a goal and an assist while Casey Johnson got the win in goal for the Stars. Regan Wintle, Cam Duprey and Owen DuBois all scored for the Wild in the loss. 
 
Alexandria 4 @ Coulee Region 3 - Brandon Connett led the Blizzard with a goal and two assists as Alexandria topped Coulee Region 4-3. Cole Jacobs, Kobe Kitagawa and Dylan Carlson all lit the lamp for the Blizzard. Ville Hyttinen earned the win as he made 27 saves. Marco Escobar tallied a pair of goals and Christopher Gilbert chipped in a goal as well. Devin Naidow was dealt the loss as he made 32 saves.
 
St. Louis 3 @ New Ulm 5 - Jacob Berkowitz scored two goals and Keegan Bauman chipped in a goal and an assist as the New Ulm Steel defeated the St. Louis Jr. Blues 5-3. Jacob Zowin and Brian Oare also scored for the Steel in the win. Jack Raymond stopped 37 shots en route to picking up his third win of the season. Sean Hofstetter provided most of the offense for St. Louis as he scored twice and assisted on the other Jr. Blues goal. Valentin Kovalenko was the beneficiary of Hofstetter’s setup. Brett Tome stopped 22 shots in the loss.
 
Breezy Point 1 @ Granite City 8 - Daymin Dodge scored a hat trick and Carson Simon lit the lamp twice as the Granite City Lumberjacks took care of the Breezy Point North Stars 8-1. Tony Brings, Nicholas Richert and Nathan Green all found the back of the net in the win. Nate Johnston stopped 13 shots to get the win in net. Braeden Zaste scored the lone goal for the North Stars while Griffin Foster made 50 saves.
 
Peoria 5 @ Wausau 2 - Ian McHenry’s two goals led the Peoria Mustangs to a 5-2 win over the Wausau RiverWolves on Saturday night. Dillan Benley, Tyler Bihun and Jayvcob Bland also scored for the Mustangs. Kason Yamada made 15 saves to get his first junior victory. Ian Raddatz and Kasey Couture scored for the RiverWolves and Tyler Klatt made 48 saves in a losing effort.
 
TX RoadRunners 1 @ TX Brahmas 3 - The Texas Brahmas controlled play for most of the game as they defeated the Texas RoadRunner 3-1. Benjamin Mondou scored twice in win and Ian Erdman contributed a goal and an assist. Bryce Runyan allowed just one goal on 16 shots to pick up his sixth win of the season. The RoadRunners only goal came of the stick of Garrett Wildermann. Blake Forystek took the loss in net as he made 41 saves.
 
Helena 1 @ Gillette 8 - Declan Young’s hat trick and two assists led the Gillette Wild to an 8-1 thrashing of the Helena Bighorns. Tyler Kaminski had himself a goal and three assists while Danny Ramos, Pablo Palos and Keedin Denny all chipped in a goal and an assist. Nathaniel Fanning also found the back of the net. Brad Muzarelli stopped 46 shots to get the win in between the pipes. Abraham Laggis notched the only goal for Helena.
 
Bozeman 5 @ Missoula 2 - The Bozeman Icedogs improved to 18-1 as they defeated the Missoula Jr. Bruins 5-2. Will Kutch led all skaters with five points, one goal and four assists. Luke Hartge lit the lamp twice and chipped in two helpers while Luke McKay also scored twice and added an assist. Conan Hayton denied 34 chances from Missoula. Mi-Kwan Tallman and Cayce Balk scored for Missoula. Larkin Dolan took the loss despite making 41 saves.
 
Butte 2 @ Great Falls 3 - Jake Hayes 15th goal of the season proved to be the game winner as the Great Falls Americans outlasted the Butte Cobras 3-2. Kellen Harris and Levi Mese provided the offense for the Americans while Trever Mellen was on his ‘A’ game as he made 33 saves. Ty Stovin and Carsten Quam got on the scoresheet for Butte and Casey Mattfeldt made 41 saves in the loss.
 
Sheridan 5 @ Yellowstone 3 - The Sheridan Hawks got back to their winning ways as they dropped the Yellowstone Quake 5-3. Trevor Timm and Kolten Wright led the Hawks with a goal and an assist each. Blake Billings, Peyton Kesselhon and Stepan Ruta also lit the lamp for Sheridan. Zach Hearn turned aside 20 shots for the Hawks. Dylan Rumpke, Cade Rosansky and Tyler Cramer all potted goals for the Quake. Michael Allman was sensational as he made 55 saves for Yellowstone.
