NA3HL announces Divisional Stars of the Week presented by Bauer Hockey
The North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) today announced the Divisional Stars of the Week presented by Bauer Hockey for the week ending November 17, 2019. The divisional stars of the week are awards given each week of the regular season to the top-performing players in each of the six divisions of the NA3HL as nominated by their head coaches.
Central Division Star of the Week: Sean Hofstetter, F, St. Louis Jr. Blues
Hofstetter and the Blues split a weekend set against New Ulm, a pair of back-to-back tilts that saw Hofstetter net seven points and extend his point streak to four games. On Friday, the Illinois native led his team with two goals and two assists en route to a 6-1 win, before lighting the lamp twice again and setting up another for three points on Sunday. Hofstetter now boasts 20g-13a—33pts in just 22 outings this season.

Coastal Division Star of the Week: Nolan Murphy, F, New England Knights
Murphy put in a starring shift for the Knights over the weekend, potting four goals to guide his team to a pair of key wins. After lighting the lamp once on Friday, Murphy turned up his scoring with his second hat-trick of the season to guide New England past L/A. With points in those back-to-back games, Murphy now boasts an impressive 11-game point streak.

Frontier Division Star of the Week: Declan Young, F, Gillette Wild
Young’s impressive start to the season continued over the weekend, where he posted back-to-back hat-tricks and a total of 12 points in two wins over Helena. Setting up four goals on Friday and two more on Saturday, the forward’s all-around play was stellar as he filled the scoresheet to stretch his streak to six straight with at least a point and boost his season totals to 24g-20a—44pts in just 19 games.

Northeast Division Star of the Week: Dylan Webber, F, Danbury Colonials
Danbury suffered a pair of close losses last weekend, but Webber stood out with a point in each contest. Scoring on Friday and assisting on Saturday, the Danbury forward stretched his point streak to four games, with 2g-3a—5pts in that span.

South Division Star of the Week: Danny Barry, F, Texas Brahmas
Barry and the Brahmas posted a sweep of their cross-state rival Roadrunners, during which Barry erupted for six points across his second and third multi-point outings of the year. On Friday, he put up three points for the first time this season, scoring the game-winning goal and setting up two other tallies for the win. After logging an assist on Saturday, Barry then struck twice in Sunday’s win — his first multi-goal game this season. Barry’s six-point weekend extended his point streak to four games and pushed his season total to 6g-5a—11pts in 15 games.

West Division Star of the Week: Lucas Wahlin, F, North Iowa Bulls
Wahlin’s prolific campaign hit a new gear over the weekend, where he posted a whopping seven points in just two games including his first hat-trick of the year. Friday’s win over Breezy Point featured a goal and an assist from the Minnesotan to push his point streak to four outings, but Saturday was where he shone brightest. With three goals and a pair of helpers, Wahlin posted five points — his first game with more than three points — to guide the Bulls to a 12-2 victory. Wahlin now boasts goals and points in five straight games, posting 7g-7a—14pts in that span.
