Bozeman, Great Falls win on Thursday

Missoula 3 @ Bozeman 6 – Luke Hartge had two goals and an assist to lead the Bozeman Icedogs to their third straight win with a 6-3 triumph over the visiting Jr. Bruins. Bozeman jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the 1st period and never looked back, which included two goals from Hartge and another from Andrew Bertolini. Cooper Walsh and Duncan McGarrah added 2nd period goals and Dennis Tamburo Jr. added a 3rd period goal for Bozeman. Missoula got goals from Cayce Balk in the 2nd period and Zane Cluphf and Tyler Prince in the 3rd period. Bozeman goalie Domagoj Troha made 27 saves in the win, while Dylan Swanson made 43 saves in the loss.
Great Falls 7 @ Butte 1 – The Americans poured 65 shots on goal on their way to a 7-1 win on Thursday night as Henry Chavez and Dylan Olson each scored two goals. The Americans took a 3-0 lead in the 1st period as Olson scored the first two goals and Blake Nerney added another. Butte scored their lone goal at the end of the 1st period with a tally from Ty Stovin. The rest of the game was all Americans as they added three more goals in the 2nd period, including one from Chavez and others from Nick Silance and Brody Boyce. Chavez would add his second of the game late in the 3rd period. Great Falls goalie Viktor Wennberg made a season-high 49 saves in the win, while Danny Fielding took the loss with 48 saves.
