Two Blizzard players get call to the NAHL

The Alexandria Blizzard of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that two players this past weekend were called up to the North American Hockey League (NAHL) to play for two different teams.
 
Blizzard forward Brandon Connett, 20, is the Blizzard leading scorer so far this season. The 6’0/185 lbs. native of Baldwin, Wisconsin, has accumulated 18 goals and 17 assists for 35 points and is a +15 in 28 games this season.  
 
Connett, who committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for the University of Wisconsin-Stout back in November, joined the Aberdeen Wings of the NAHL for their game in Bismarck this past Saturday Night. Since joining the Blizzard early last season, Connett has averaged over a point per game in his 79 career games with Alexandria.
 
Blizzard goaltender Bailey Rosch, 19, has appeared in 11 games for the Blizzard this season, holding a 5-3-1 record. The 5’11/190 lbs. native of Alexandria, Minnesota, has a 3.83 goals against average and a .865 save percentage so far this season. 
 
Rosch was called up to the Minot Minotauros this past weekend. This is Rosch’s second trip up the NAHL as he spent a weekend last season with the Brookings Blizzard.
