Sam VanderHoeven had two goals in a 4-1 win on Thursday.

Wausau 1 @ Coulee Region 4 – Devin Naidow made 37 saves and Sam VanderHoeven scored twice to lead the Coulee Region Chill to a 4-1 home win over the Wausau RiverWolves in the lone NA3HL game on Thursday.  VanderHoeven scored his first goal midway through the 1st period to put the Chill ahead 1-0. Early in the 2nd period, VanderHoeven scored again to make it 2-0. Late in the 2nd period, Jeremiah Lebsack scored for the Chill to make it 3-0. Wausau snapped Naidow’s shutout bid midway through the 3rd period as Alexander Kelsall scored to make it 3-1. Late in the game, Marco Escobar scored his 17th goal of the season to make it a 4-1 final score. RiverWolves goalie Tyler Klatt made 33 saves in the loss. Boxscore
