January 17, 2020
The New Ulm Steel of the NA3HL is proud to announce that forward Keegan Bauman has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for the University of Wisconsin-Stout.

Bauman, 20, joined the Steel at the beginning of the 2018-19 season after one year with the Willmar WarHawks.

The 6’0/185 lbs. native of Champlin Park, Minnesota, has played in 70 games for the Steel, tallying 30 goals and 43 assists, which includes 30 points in 24 games played so far during the 2019-20 season.

Overall in 118 career NA3HL games, Bauman has recorded 107 points.

“I chose Stout because of the education you can receive. The campus just felt perfect for me,” said Bauman. “Being in New Ulm for the past two years has been amazing. My billets, my teammates, the organization, everyone has been very supportive and helpful on my journey.”

Prior to his time in the NA3HL, Bauman played for Champlin Park High School and the Minnesota Magicians 16U.
