Wild name Hayes as new Head Coach and GM

The Gillette Wild of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that Ethan Hayes has been named the new Head Coach and General Manager of the Wild for the 2020-21 season.

 

Prior to this new opportunity with the Wild, Hayes has acted as Assistant Coach for the Great Falls Americans in the NA3HL for two seasons. With a lifetime of hockey experience under his belt, Hayes loves to involve himself in youth hockey programs and helping his hometown varsity team whenever possible. 

 

As a player, his hockey career extended from four years of varsity hockey, which included a senior season with Wisconsin All-State Honors, and then into seasons playing junior hockey with the Hudson Crusaders and the Northwest Wisconsin Mustangs.

 

Hayes has already started the recruiting process for next year and is excited about his new position as the Head Coach and General Manager of the Gillette Wild. 

 

“The Wild have a great base of players with a lot of talent that are eligible to return next season and could do something special,” said Hayes. 

 

Having spent tw years in the Frontier Division, Hayes stated that Gillette has some of the best facilities in the NA3HL and looks forward to leading the program in the next season. Hayes will finish his season in Great Falls before moving to Gillette.
