Steel run winning streak to 10 straight

New Ulm 4 @ Alexandria 2 – The New Ulm Steel won their 10th straight game with a 4-2 win in Alexandria on Wednesday night. Jacob Halvorson scored twice and Igor Samokhvalov made 31 saves in the win. The Steel got off to a good start, jumping out to a 2-0 lead with 1st period goals from Jacob Zowin and Josh Baker. The Blizzard made a game of things as they cut the deficit to 2-1 with a 2nd period goal from Cole Jacobs. However, in the 3rd period, Halvorson scored twice to put the game out of reach. Michal Trejbal had the other goal for Alexandria. Blizzard goalie Ville Hyttinen made 26 saves in the loss. Boxscore
